About

It doesn’t take much to transform the ordinary to the exceptional, just the right tools. It’s discovering those tools that has lead me on this journey. Just an ordinary mom of three, recently divorced, recently rediscovered.

Mom of Three
That would be three intelligent and talented boys (I may be biased, but I don’t think so). Two of which are extremely creative, sweet and unique despite the fact they are twins. The third and youngest is equal parts enjoyable and exasperating in his spirited, energetic and charming ways. Needless to say they keep me on my toes!

Recently Divorced
It has been about a year since the divorce became final but the actual deterioration of the marriage began shortly after we said “I do”. Twelve years is a long time of trying to make it work.  But I’ve found there is hope after divorce and if I can help others find that hope through my personal experiences then it has all been worth it.

Recently Rediscovered
This has been the fun part and the driving force behind this blog. Imagine my surprise when well into my thirties I realized I didn’t REALLY know myself. It has been quite the adventure learning who I am and finding that I like myself!

And here I thought I was just ORDINARY…!

  1. You are an amazing woman. If you’d asked me, I would have told you that you have always been extraordinary, in all phases of your life, and that you will continue to be so through all the phases to come. But then, what do I know? I’m just your mother, and, therefore, somewhat biased. But isn’t the bias based upon loving observation, joyful interaction, and challenging mother/daughter-hood? A lifetime of loving you, praying for you, empathizing with you in all your joys and challenges, has made me biased, yes, but only in the sense that I’ve grown to know you as we’ve grown together through the years. I will love you forever!

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Please Leave a Reply...
